Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Dublin Pub.

Gift cards will be mailed to the school office at the end of each month.

Mia Clark (Lincoln Girls Basketball) The Railers hosted Taylorville on Friday night and picked up a 57-45 win. Clark led the way in the victory with 24 points for Lincoln and picked up some well timed bucket throughout the back and forth game. Highlights of the Railers victory HERE.

Brody Commean (Glenwood Wrestling) With dual wins over Jacksonville and Rochester on Thursday the Titans earned another Central State Eight conference title. Commean helped the team pick up a win over Jacksonville with a pin in just 11 seconds. Check out that pin and more highlights from the meet in Chatham HERE.

Oliver Havey (Springfield High Swimming) The Senators are once again City Champs! They picked up the title on Tuesday at Eisenhower Pool and Havey helped lead the way. The sophomore won two individual events and was a part of two relay victories. He won the 50 freestyle (24.12) and the 500 freestyle (5:40.28) while also anchoring the winning 200 medley relay (1:47.8) and the 400 freestyle relay (3:48.83). Carter Hunley (Auburn Boys Basketball) The Trojans continue to pick up wins this season with victories over Riverton and Athens in conference play last week. Auburn trailed by one at the end of the third against Riverton but went on to pick up the 58-44 win. Hunley scored 15 points against Riverton and was an important piece of the Trojans’ defense that forced nine turnovers in the fourth. See highlights of the win over Riverton HERE and Athens HERE.

Angelina Ippolito (South Fork Girls Basketball) South Fork picked up a win over Piasa Southwestern last week and in the victory Ippolito hit a career milestone. The junior had a game high 14 points and went 6-for-6 from the free throw line but more importantly she scored her 1,000th point.

Owen Johnson (Pleasant Plains Boys Basketball) The Cardinals picked up a quality Sangamo win over the Riverton Hawks on Friday night. Pleasant Plains trailed by four with under a minute left in the game, Johnson hit a three pointer with less then 20 seconds left to life the Cardinals to the 40-39 victory. Jett Karrick (PORTA Boys Basketball) The Bluejays are out to a 3-0 start in the Sangamo following wins over Athens and Maroa Forsyth last week. It was Karrick helping to lead PORTA in both victories. He scored 20 points against Maroa Forsyth while going 9-for-10 from the free throw line and he had a game high 21 points in the win over Athens.

Ariella Miloncus (Springfield High Girls Wrestling) The Springfield Coop girls wrestling team won a regional over the weekend in Mt Zion. Miloncus was one of their individual champs as she won the 130 pound bracket. She won the title match with a fall at 2 minutes and is now 19-6 this season.

Mason Neumann (Glenwood Boys Basketball) Glenwood picked up a win over Rochester on Saturday to keep pace with MacArthur at the top of the CS8 standing. Neumann returned from injury and was a big part of the Titans’ defense while also scoring 14 points in the victory. Highlights of the CS8 win HERE.

Aniyah Rhinehouse (Springfield High Girls Basketball) The Senators picked up a big Central State Eight win on Tuesday at Duey Gymnasium. Springfield was down five late but would force overtime before earning the 77-72 win over Lincoln. Rhinehouse led the way in the victory with 29 points. See highlights of the victory HERE.

Anna Weber (Pleasant Plains Girls Basketball) The Pleasant Plains junior hit a career milestone on Thursday as the Cardinals picked up a win over Rochester. Weber scored a game high 23 points in the victory along with her 1,000th career point. She also scored 14 in a win over IVC on Saturday. Highlights of Saturday’s victory HERE.

Kadi Wilbern (Glenwood Girls Wrestling) The girls wrestling postseason got started over the weekend and Wilbern brought home a regional title. She won the 105 bracket at the Mt Zion Regional and advances to the Highland sectional in two weeks. Wilbern picked up a fall at 2:58 in the title match and moves to 27-2 this season.
