Trinity in Taylorville Prime Time Performer: March 31-April 5

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Dublin Pub.

Gift cards will be mailed to the school office at the end of each month.

Sydney Feld (Glenwood Softball) The Titans picked up a CS8 win over Springfield on Tuesday with a 6-1 victory over the Senators. Feld got the scoring started in the top of the second with a solo homer to center field. She finished 2 for 4 with one run scored, two runs batted in and two stolen bases. Gage Gedaminski (Lutheran High Baseball) The Crusaders are out to a 3-0 start following a 7-3 win over Edinburg last week. Gedaminski led the way at the plate for Lutheran as he went 2 for 3 with a single and double while driving in three runs.

Quinten Hale (Glenwood Baseball) Glenwood got the Central State Eight schedule started on Tuesday with a 1-0 win over Springfield. Hale got the start on the mound for the Titans and earned the win. He threw four innings allowing just one hit, no runs and striking out four. Highlights of the victory HERE.

Karsyn Jacoby (Athens Girls Soccer) A career milestone moment for Jacoby on Thursday afternoon as the Warriors hosted Unity Christian. Athens picked up the 5-0 win and in the 23rd minute the senior scored her 100th career goal. You can see that goal and more highlights HERE.

Brody Landon (PORTA Baseball) A walk-off victory for the Bluejays on Thursday as they took on the Southeast Spartans. PORTA was down one to start the bottom of the seventh and after tying the game at five, it was Landon who singled to center with a runner on third for the walk-off win. Landon finished the game 1 for 3 with one run scored and the game winning RBI.

Rylann Law (Glenwood Girls Soccer) Glenwood has a new career goals leader! On Thursday in a 9-0 win over Mt Zion, Law scored a hat trick which put her at 84 career goals. That was good enough to break the school record set by Alaree Gunville in 2001. She also scored in the Titans 2-0 win over SHG on Tuesday which you can see highlights of HERE.

Caroline Sheehan (Sacred Heart Griffin Girls Soccer) The rain stayed away just long enough for the Cyclones to host the QND Raiders on Saturday morning. SHG picked up the 3-0 win as Sheehan scored twice for the Cyclones. See highlights of the game HERE.

Emme Steward (Normal U-High Softball) U-High picked up a come back victory over Williamsville on Monday afternoon. In the top of the seventh, Steward hit a two RBI double to give the Pioneers the lead. She finished the game 2 for 4 with one run scored and two runs batted in. See that go-ahead hit and more HERE.

Brooklyn Termine (Williamsville Girls Soccer) The Bullets got the Sangamo schedule started on Thursday as they traveled to Auburn. In a big win it was Termine who helped lead the way with four goals. The Bullets will travel to Bloomington Central Catholic and Rochester this week. Highlights of the win HERE.

Lily Woodworth (TCSVMP Softball) The Tornadoes picked up a one run victory over Athens on Monday. Woodworth helped lead the way in the circle as she pitched six innings, allowed just four hits and one earned run while striking out nine in the 5-4 victory. We have highlights of the win HERE.
