Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

Addie Beekman (Hartsburg Emden Volleyball) The Stags picked up a second place finish at state over the weekend at Illinois State. In the 2-0 semifinal win, Beekman had seven kills, one ace and seven digs. In the title game, she finished with 15 kills and 10 digs. Highlights of the semifinal win HERE and title game HERE.

Cory Craig Jr (Athens Football) The Warriors traveled south to Nashville on Saturday afternoon and picked up a big 28-27 quarterfinal win. In the victory Craig ran for 147 yards and four touchdowns. He also had 27 receiving yards. Athens travels to Shelbyville on Saturday in a 2A semifinal matchup. Highlights of the Warriors victory HERE.

Kloe Froebe (Lincoln Volleyball) The Railers brought home a second place finished at state volleyball this weekend at Illinois State. In the 2-1 semifinal victory on Friday, Froebe had 16 kills and 14 digs. She followed up that performance with 16 kills and 19 digs in the championship game. Kaiden Maurer (Maroa Forsyth Football) The Trojans are back in a 2A semifinal after a 35-11 victory over Bloomington Central Catholic. The senior quarterback completed 23 of 26 passes for 276 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 120 yards on 18 carries and two more touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball Maurer had 12 tackles. Maroa Forsyth will travel to Wilmington on Saturday. Check out the highlights of the quarterfinal win HERE.

Bryan Zulauf (Rochester Football) The Rockets head south this weekend to take on Murphysboro in a 4A semifinal. In the quarterfinal game on Saturday, Rochester picked up a 49-13 win over Breese Central. Zulauf had eight carries for 104 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
