Glenwood softball took a nine run lead after the first inning, powered by a Kate Feld three run home run. Carterville slowly chipped away before scoring seven runs in the seventh inning to take a 13-10 lead. The Titans got a three run home run in the bottom half from Claire Black before Cassie Field singled to put a runner on with two outs. The game was called due to weather with the game tied at 13 and both coaches agreed to call it a tie. Carterville is 23-3-1 and the #3 ranked team in 2A, Glenwood is 20-1-1 and the #4 ranked team in 3A.
