Trinity In Taylorville Prime Time Performer: September 12-17

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

Talan McElroy (Pawnee Football) The Indians hosted Martinsville for their homecoming game on Saturday afternoon. McElroy had three touchdowns in the first half with a receiving touchdown, a rushing touchdown and a pick six. Pawnee picked up the 44-12 win and you can see highlights of the first half HERE.

Samantha Shankland (Glenwood Girls Tennis) Glenwood held the Titan Invite over the weekend and had a very successful results. They had winners in both the singles and doubles brackets while the Glenwood Red team won the invite with a score of 28. Shankland led the team as the #1 singles winner.

Jacob Park (Williamsville Boys Soccer) A big Sangamo win for the Bullets on Thursday against Pleasant Plains. Williamsville picked up the 5-0 victory as Park scored two goals and assisted on two others. See highlights of the game HERE.

Artez Hanson (Springfield High Football) The Senators travled to UHigh on Friday night and brought home a 32-13 victory. Hanson rushed for 130 yards and had two rushing touchdowns in the win. Check out some of the highlights of that game HERE.

Cal Johnson (Sacred Heart Griffin Boys Golf) The Cyclones won a City title last week defeating Springfield by just five strokes. SHG finished with an overall score of 302 and was led by Johnson who earned medalists honors.

Lola Clayton (UHigh Volleyball) UHigh is the only unbeaten team reaming in the CS8 after a three set victory over Springfield High last week. Clayton had 20 assists in the victory as the Pioneers won, 25-14, 23-25, 25-15. Highlights of the three sets HERE.

Jake Seman (Williamsville Football) The Bullets celebrated homecoming with a 42-14 win against Olympia on Friday night. At quarterback, Seman threw for 316 yards and four touchdowns while also rushing for 68 yards and two more touchdowns. Check out the first half highlights of the win HERE.

Andrew Dejaynes (Springfield High Boys Soccer) The Senators hosted UHigh on Tuesday night and picked up another CS8 victory. After a scoreless first half it took Springfield just 1:06 into the second half to take the lead thanks to a goal from Dejaynes. See highlights of the 1-0 victory HERE.

Makenna Cox (Lutheran High Volleyball) The Crusaders continue to pick up wins this season and added five more to their total this weekend going undefeated at the Ray Long Classic in New Berlin. Cox was named tournament MVP and led the team with 67 kills over the five games.

Ty Lott (Sacred Heart Griffin Football) The numbers Lott and the Cyclones continue to put up are impressive as they won their fourth game of the season 55-14 over Jacksonville. Lott was 16 for 20 with 280 yards and four touchdowns in the air while adding another 25 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. See those touchdowns and more HERE.
