Trinity In Taylorville Prime Time Performer: Sept 27 – Oct 2

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

Jake Swartz (U-High Golf) The Pioneers won a regional championship in Rantoul last week. The senior led U-High with a team high 73 as they advance to sectionals.

Addie Stadsholt (Athens Volleyball) The Lady Warriors are one of three unbeaten teams left in the Sangamo conference. Against PORTA on Tuesday, Stadsholt was a huge part of the win picking up plenty of kills and a couple of block for Athens.

Kiley Torres (Rochester Golf) Rochester brought home a regional championship behind Torres. She shot a 81 at the St Teresa regional while the team finished with a combined 350. Torres also finished fifth at the conference tournament on Monday with an 84.

Zach Hinds (Riverton Football) The Hawks know how to put some points on the board as they got the victory over PORTA 52-24 on Friday. Hinds threw for 340 yards and seven touchdowns in the victory. Riverton looks to add another win to the record as they host New Berlin Friday, don’t look now…but that would be 4 wins with two games to go!

Will Seman (Williamsville Golf) The 1A Auburn regional championship went to the Bullets last week with a team 330. Seman did not just lead the team to the title he also picked up medalist honors with a 76.

Catalina Easley (Athens Golf) The Warriors have a medalist coming out of regionals! At the St Teresa regional Easley won the meet with a 76 and advances to sectionals.

Cameron Appenzeller (Glenwood Golf) Glenwood picked up a regional championship in Taylorville with a combined score of 324. Appenzeller was the team’s top finisher with a 79 which tied him with the medalist, before falling in a one hole playoff.

Cole Hatalla (North Mac Soccer and Golf) The senior had quite the week last week. On Monday he had a goal and two assits against Staunton to set the North Mac all-time assist record. The next day he had five goals and an assist against Macon Meridian to set the all-time goals record at North Mac. Then to cap off his achievements he shot an 86 at regionals to advance to sectionals in golf.

Reagan Kennedy (U-High Golf) Not only did the Pioneers take first at the CS8 tournament on Monday with Kennedy earning medalist honors the same thing happened at the Rock Island regionals. The team finished with a 325 while Kennedy shot a 73 at the conference tournament. At regionals the team combined for a score of 307 with Kennedy shooting a 68.

Galashky Blaise (Glenwood Football) Blaise was Mr Efficient in the Titans 48-14 victory over Southeast. He had one carry for a 36 yard touchdown and one punt return for a 61 yard touchdown. Glenwood has a big matchup this week as they host Rochester.

Peyton Woods (Springfield Golf) The Senators brought home some hardware in the form of a regional championship last week with a team score of 303. Woods continues his success from last season as he led the team with a 68 and was named medalists.

Makenna Cox (Lutheran High Volleyball) The Crusaders had a big week last week finishing second at county and going 4-1 at the Triad tournament including a win over Glenwood. Cox was named to all tournament team at both tournaments. In the Championship match at Triad she had 18 kills and 16 digs against the number four rank in 2A Nashville.
