Damon & Deon Pick Up Sloppy Spartans In Road Win Over Springfield


 

Deon Mathews scored a career high 20 points and Damon Davis scored 7 of his 14 in the fourth quarter to lead Southeast to a 68-61 win over Springfield High on Tuesday night.

Spartans head coach Lawrence Thomas talked after the game about the uncharacteristic 20 turnovers against the zone….while Southeast was still without starting point guard Terrion Murdix with a cast on his left hand.

Ananise Mackey scored a game high 22 points for Springfield High who got 17 from freshman Shane Miller and 15 from freshman Bennie Slater in the loss.
