Brummetts Lead the Charge in MacArthur’s Convincing Win Over Mt. Zion in Peoria Winter Throwdown

Mt. Zion played MacArthur tight in the first quarter, with the Generals only leading 13-11. The Braves’ Trevor Durand and Jonah Smith were both having themselves good games, but ultimately Armon and Amir Brummett took over, as they tend to do. MacArthur ran away with the second quarter, leading 36-23 going into halftime, then a series of dunks from the Brummetts put it out of reach as the Generals beat the Braves 65-52 in the Peoria Winter Throwdown.

Armon Brummett finished with a game-high 21 points while Amir Brummett added 13. Jonah Smith and Trevor Durand each had 18 points for the Braves in the loss.
