Normal U-High came to play on Saturday, and Springfield didn’t. It was as simple as that when the Pioneers and the Senators faced off in CS8 Soccer action on Saturday morning. U-High took control early with two first half goals and finished the job convincingly in the second half, beating Springfield handily 5-1. Nathan Clay had a goal and three assists while Mason Wittman had two goals. Kelby Phillips had Springfield’s lone goal on a penalty kick.
