Aubrey Hunt outscored the Cavies by herself in the first half and Ashley Ford scored a game high 20 points to lead Tri-City to their first ever regional championship with a 45-30 victory over Carlinville on Thursday in the 2A Carlinville regional.
Hunt scored all 17 of her points in the first half, including a three to beat the halftime buzzer. Tri-City advances to the 2A Wavery sectional on Tuesday.
