The Lutheran High Crusaders found their confidence in the second quarter and carried that momentum into the second half where they pulled away from Edinburg for a 57-45 win in the opening round of the Waverly Holiday Tournament.
The 16 seeded Crusaders said they found motivation in being seeded last in the tournament and got contributions from everybody in the win over the Wildcats.
