Glenwood’s defense denied Springfield High just enough for a 2-1 win over the Senators to clinch at least a share of the CS8 title for the Titans.
Darby Dixon and Carlie Smith scored the goals for the Titans, while Sophie Eves netted Springfield High’s only goal just three minutes in. Mel Mckeown saved a penalty kick taken by the Titans just before halftime.
Glenwood plays at SHG on May 7 for a chance to finish a perfect 9-0 in CS8 play.
