Will Reiser pitched a hitless five innings and Blake Pettys threw two innings in relief to combine for the shutout as Springfield High stopped SHG for a 7-0 win to open the 2019 City baseball series.
Chad Haller, Adam Passmore, Jacks Hyde and Rico Johnson all drove in runs for the Senators. SHG and Springfield High will play in the nightcap on Wednesday at Robin Roberts Stadium.
