Faith Washko, though only a freshman, refused to give up on two plays that resulted in goals to lead SHG to a 3-0 win over Normal West in the 2A Washington sectional championship.
Washko scored the first and third goals of the day, Maddie Warrington scored the second goal on a penalty kick.
