North Mac officially ushered in the Dan Carlson era this week, hiring the 26 year old to take the reigns of a program that’s gone 21-3 over the past two years with a 3A state semifinal appearance under it’s belt in that time. Carlson, who was the defensive coordinator for Collinsville High School last season is a Troy Triad graduate. He played college ball at Division II powerhouse Northwest Missouri State.
