Sacred Heart-Griffin shut down Normal U-High 4-0 at Comstock Field on Tuesday. Chase Beckham hurled six scoreless innings for SHG while Mike Groesch and Ethan Cour led the offense. Groesch hit a solo homer in the fourth and Cour after both of his hits. The Pioneer offense was held to four hits as they suffered their first conference loss of the year, falling to 7-1 and 19-3 overall.
