Adam Abell (Routt Boys Basketball) The Rockets are in a Waverly semifinal following a 61-35 win over Pawnee in the quarterfinal. Abell finished the game with a triple double including 28 points. Highlights of that performance HERE.
Addison Brown (Mt Pulaski Girls Basketball) The Hilltoppers continue to pick up wins this year with a victory over Williamsville on Monday. Addison Brown helped lead Mt Pulaski in the win with 15 points included 12 of those points in the first half. All of Brown’s points were scored by three pointers. Highlights of the victory HERE.
Khymir Carson (MacArthur Boys Basketball) MacArthur is back in the Collinsville Holiday Tournament title game as they picked up wins over Rockford East, Lincoln and Triad over the weekend. In the win over Rockford East, Carson scored 11 points. His biggest performance of the tournament so far came in the semifinal with 31 points including eight three pointers. Collin Etter (North Mac Boys Basketball) The Panthers picked up a big win over West Central to move into a Waverly semifinal on Saturday. In that victory Etter scored 24 points as North Mac picked up the 58-39 win. Check out the highlights HERE.
Hope Gilmore (Glenwood Girls Basketball) The Titans hosted Normal West on Monday before taking some time off for the holidays. Gilmore helped lead the way both offensively and defensively while scoring 11 points in the 54-32 win. Highlights HERE.
Karson Komnick (Lincoln Boys Basketball) Lincoln started off the Collinsville Holiday Tournament with a win over Granite City. Komnick finished the game with a double double of 17 points and 10 rebounds. The senior also scored 29 for the Railers 42 points in a 5th place semifinal win on Sunday. Ceabrin Lee (Maroa Forsyth Boys Basketball) Maroa Forsyth kicked off the St Teresa Tournament with two wins in pool play last week. In a big win over Judah Christian on Tuesday it was Lee who score 21 points to help lead the Trojans. Check out highlights of the win HERE.
Myles Montgomery (Sacred Heart Griffin Boys Basketball) SHG will play in a semifinal at the State Farm Holiday Classic on Monday. Montgomery had double digit performances in both of their first two wins. He scored 11 points against Machesney Park on Friday and 17 points versus Dunlap on Saturday. Julian Rice (Riverton Boys Basketball) The Hawks earned two wins in pool play at the St Teresa Tournament early last week. Rice led the way in a win over Okaw Valley with 34 points. Check out highlights HERE.
Ryder Smith (Pawnee Boys Basketball) Pawnee got the Waverly Holiday Tournament started with a 47-35 upset win on Friday over New Berlin. Smith led the way for the Indians as he scored 17 points. Check out the highlights of the victory HERE.
Noah Wade (Springfield High Boys Basketball) Springfield High won a conference game last Monday with a 70-60 win over Rochester. In that victory Wade scored 19 points and you can see highlights HERE.
