The Sacred Heart Griffin Cyclones scored seven in the third on their way to a 10-2 victory over West Hancock in a 2A Pleasant Plains regional semifinal on Tuesday. Lucy Wegner collected three hits and two RBIs in the victory including a 2-run homer in the sixth. Kenzie Wieland struck out 15 in seven innings pitched and hit a two-run home run as well. SHG will face Beardstown on Friday at 4:30pm in Pleasant Plains for the regional title.
