The Beardstown Tigers picked up an 8-2 victory over Pleasant Plains to move into a 2A regional title game. The Tigers were led by pitcher Khloe Kearns who struck out 15 in seven innings pitched and drove in a run while Mia Simpson drove in three. Beardstown will take on SHG on Friday at 4:30 for the 2A Pleasant Plains regional title. The Cardinals season comes to a close at 18-13.
