Trinity in Taylorville Prime Time Performer: April 27-May 2

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Dublin Pub.

Gift cards will be mailed to the school office at the end of each month.

Antonette Bartletti (Sacred Heart Griffin Girls Track & Field) For the third straight season the Cyclones are outright City Champs! Bartletti helped lead SHG to the win with two individual victories including the 100 meter (12.57) and the 200 meter (25.71). She was also a part of the winning 4×200 team in 1:46.06 and the third place 4×100 team. SHG also won the Don Williams Invite in Williamsville on Friday as Bartletti picked up two more victories. Ava Bee (Athens Girls Soccer) A career milestone moment for the Athens junior. In a 4-2 victory over Beardstown on Friday Bee scored her 100th career goal as the Warriors earned a third place finish at the Plains Invite.

Chase Beckham (Sacred Heart Griffin Baseball) The Cyclones handed Normal U-High their first conference loss of the season on Tuesday with a 4-0 victory. Beckham picked up the win on the mound with six shutout innings. He allowed just four hits and struck out four in the win. See highlights of the CS8 matchup HERE.

Emme Divjak (Auburn Girls Soccer) Another milestone moment from the Plains Invite last week, this time for an Auburn junior. In a 5-2 victory over Southeast Divjak scored her 100th career goal.

Drew Green (Pleasant Plains Baseball) The Cardinals are in control of the Sangamo with a 7-1 record. In a 14-1 win over New Berlin on Tuesday, Green pitched 4.1 innings allowing just two hits and striking out seven. He also went 3-for-4 in that game with three RBIs. Olivia Heigert (Williamsville Softball) A big week for the Williamsville freshman. The Bullets picked up four wins last week as Heigert pitched in three of them. She pitched a total of 16 innings allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out 39 batters. In a complete game against Pittsfield on Saturday she threw a near perfect game with the only baserunner reaching on a walk with two outs in the seventh.

Darren Henry (Jacksonville Boys Track & Field) The Crimsons won the boys title at the Don Williams Invite in Williamsville on Friday. Henry picked up three wins in field events. He won high jump at 1.96 meters, long jump at 6.82 meters and triple jump at 13.35 meters.

Collin Grosenheider (Williamsville Baseball) The Bullets picked up a big 5-2 victory over Pleasant Plains on Thursday to hand the Cardinal their first conference loss of the season. Grosenheider struck out 10 and allowed two runs in six innings pitched. The junior also went 2-for-4 at the plate with a run scored and an RBI. Highlights of the Sangamo matchup HERE.

Frank Stefano (Rochester Baseball) The Rockets picked up an extra innings win over Springfield High on Tuesday at Scheels Sports Park. Stefano went 2-for-4 and drove in four on two doubles in the 11-4 eight inning win. Highlights of the victory HERE.

Alyvia Streb (Glenwood Softball) The Titans picked up a close 1-0 win over the Normal U-High Pioneers in non-conference action last week behind a great performance from Streb. The junior threw a complete game and allowed just one single and one walk as she struck out eight. Check out the highlights HERE.

Larry Wills (Glenwood Boys Track & Field) The Titans traveled the the Triad Knights Invite on Friday. Wills won an individual event and was a part of a relay victory. The senior won long jump at 7.08 meters and was a part of the 4×200 team that finished in 1:27.99.
