Trinity in Taylorville Prime Time Performer: January 26-31

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Dublin Pub.

Gift cards will be mailed to the school office at the end of each month.

Eli Anderson (Glenwood Swimming) Glenwood won the Tiger Invite at Urbana over the weekend with an impressive performance of five personal records from relay teams and 15 individual personal records. Anderson was the lone Titan to win an event at the invite with a victory in the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.38 seconds. He was also a part of the second place 200 medley relay, the third place 200 freestyle relay and finished fourth in the 100 freestyle.

Mia Clark (Lincoln Girls Basketball) A big week for this Lincoln senior. On Wednesday she scored 27 points in a win over Eisenhower. She then reached the career milestone of one thousand points on Friday with 17 points in a loss to U-High. Clark was not done yet, she would finish the week with 31 points in a win over Champaign Central on Saturday.

Connor Collins (Olympia Wrestling) A big day for the Spartans at the Dee-Mack regional as Olympia brought home the title and seven individual wins. Collins was one of the Spartans to win an individual regional title as he won the 106 pound bracket with a fall at 1:03.

Khordell Gregory (Rochester Boys Basketball) A big game for Khordell as the Rockets made the trip down 29 to Taylorville on Tuesday. The sophomore scored 26 points while collecting six rebounds, five assists and four steals. You can see highlights of the Rochester win HERE.

Oliver Havey (Springfield High Swimming) The Senators won another City Swim title on Tuesday as they won every event. Havey picked up two individual wins in the 50 freestyle (23.37) and the 100 freestyle (51.16). He was also a part of the 200 medley relay win (1:44.75) and the 200 freestyle relay (1:37.55). Jett Karrick (PORTA Boys Basketball) PORTA is 17-4 this season following a 68-51 victory over Maroa Forsyth on Friday. Karrick was the games leading scorer with 27 points including 11 points in the fourth quarter. See some highlights of the Bluejays conference win HERE.

Karson Komnick (Lincoln Boys Basketball) The Railers picked up a win over Taylorville on Saturday and moved Coach Alexander one win closer to 1,000. Komnick was the leading scorer for Lincoln with 25 points. Highlights of Lincoln’s 20th win of the season HERE.

Coyt Radamaker (PORTA Wrestling) PORTA hosted a 1A regional over the weekend as the Bluejays won the team title. Radamaker was one of four Bluejays who won an individual regional title at 106 pounds as he picked up a tech fall victory 2:23 into the match. Highlights from Petersburg HERE.

Eli Smith (Glenwood Wrestling) Glenwood made the trip to Civic Memorial for a 2A regional on Saturday and brought home a regional title. Smith was one of five Titans to win individual regional titles as he won the 175 pound bracket with a fall at 4:15. He also earned his 100th victory during regional competition. See highlights HERE.

Jaxsen Trager (Riverton Boys Basketball) Riverton made the trip to Pleasant Plains on Friday night and earned a 41-39 win over the Cardinals. Trager finished the game with 12 points included a key free throw late to help make it a two point game. Highlights of the Sangamo matchup HERE.

Kloe White (Southeast Girls Basketball) The Spartans hosted Glenwood on Wednesday and despite a loss it was White who helped lead the way for Southeast. The sophomore scored seven points in the first quarter, made three three-pointers in the game and finished with 16 points. See highlights HERE.
