Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Dublin Pub.

Gift cards will be mailed to the school office at the end of each month.

Madison Burke (Pleasant Plains Girls Basketball) The Cardinals improved their record to 16-0 this season with three wins last week. Two of those victories were conference wins for a 3-0 Sangamo record. Burke helped lead the way against Illini Central with 19 points including 11 in the first quarter. She also scored nine in a win over Pittsfield on Tuesday. Highlights of the conference win over the Cougars HERE.

Jaxon Ferguson (Glenwood Wrestling) This Titan achieved a career milestone on Wednesday as Glenwood hosted Triad. Ferguson picked up a tech fall at 4:28 for his 100th career victory that night. Check out some highlights of the dual HERE.

Soriano Hayes (Lanphier Boys Basketball) The Lions picked up a big Central State Eight win over SHG on Tuesday night as Hayes helped lead the way. The senior finished with 26 points and 11 rebounds in the 61-53 win as he went 6 for 6 at the line and 10 for 11 from the field. Check out the highlights HERE.

Cameron Johnson (Normal U-High Boys Basketball) A busy week for the Pioneers and Johnson. The senior had 22 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in a conference win over Eisenhower early in the week and added 17 points in a win over Lincoln on Friday. Johnson then scored 24 points and brought in 10 rebounds in a victory over Warrensburg Latham on Saturday. Those 24 points included a career milestone of his 1,000th career point. Gabe Molloy (New Berlin Boys Basketball) The Pretzels finished fourth at the county tournament last week and Molloy got the week started with a big game. In New Berlin’s opening game of the tournament Molloy hit a game winner against Athens and finished with 12 points. He also scored seven in a one points loss to Williamsville and was named to the all-tournament team. See that game winner and more HERE.

Brody Neuhoff (Williamsville Boys Basketball) For the first time since 2014 the Bullets are Sangamon County Champs! Williamsville won the title with a 45-30 victory over Riverton as Neuhoff scored 11 points. The all-tournament selection also had a big semifinal game with 10 points including a tip in at the buzzer for the win. Highlights of the semifinal HERE and the title game HERE.

Julian Rice (Riverton Boys Basketball) The Riverton Hawks brought home a second place finish from the county tournament as Rice picked up all-tournament honors. The junior scored 22 of the Hawk’s 30 points in the title game. He also scored 30 in a semifinal victory over Calvary. Highlights of the win of semifinal HERE and the title game HERE.

Aubrey Vogel (PORTA Girls Basketball) Vogel had two big performances last week and picked up a career milestone. The senior started the week with 21 points in a conference win over Maroa Forsyth. She then hit the 1,000 career point mark on Wednesday with 18 points in a loss to Havana. Highlights of the win over Maroa Forsyth HERE.

Elijah Wade (Springfield High Boys Basketball) The Senators wrapped up the number one seed for the City Tournament last week and got ready for City with a win over SHG on Friday. Springfield High earned the 60-59 victory over the Cyclones as Wade helped led the way with 24 points. The senior scored 11 of those points in the fourth as Springfield fought back from a five point deficit. Check out the highlights HERE.

Kadi Wilbern (Glenwood Wrestling) Another Glenwood wrestler who achieved the 100 win mark last week. Wilbern became the first female at Glenwood to achieve the milestone as she finished second at the Canton Invite on Saturday.
