Trinity in Taylorville Prime Time Performer: November 24-29

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Dublin Pub.

Gift cards will be mailed to the school office at the end of each month.

Connor Broughton (Rochester Football) A big game for the senior all stater in the 4A title game as the Rockets fell to the Montini Mustangs. Broughton finished with 7 total tackles, all of which were solo tackles. That included two tackles for loss and one sack. Highlights of the state championship game HERE.

Mia Clark (Lincoln Girls Basketball) Lincoln picked up a win over Effingham St Anthony on Friday and Clark helped lead the way with a double double. She scored 18 points which included four three-points while also collecting 10 rebounds and two assists.

Eric Cooper (Mt Pulaski Boys Basketball) Mt Pulaski hosted the Bill Rucks Tournament last week and it was a milestone night for Cooper on Wednesday in a win over Tri-City. The senior scored his 1,000th career point in the 62-42 victory.

Alayah Jarrett (Lanphier Girls Basketball) The Lions got a big win at the Whitney Young Kenner Klassic Shootout. The 61-26 win came over King and it was Jarrett who was named MVP of the game with 21 points.

Karson Komnick (Lincoln Boys Basketball) The Railers started the season with a 3-0 record in the Eaton/Lincoln Tournament. Komnick had three big performances with 20 points and 11 rebounds vs Champaign Centennial. He then scored 29 points against Chicago Dunlap and 23 points against Danville.

Jemma Lamb (Glenwood Girls Basketball) The Titans got the conference schedule started last week with a win over Rochester. In the victory the freshman helped lead the way with 13 points. Highlights of the win HERE.

Reese Megginson (Auburn Girls Basketball) Auburn finished second at the Waverly Turkey Tournament last week and Megginson was one of the Trojans all tournament selections. She scored 14 points against Triopia on Monday and 12 points in the title game against Carrollton. Highlights of the title game HERE.

Bryson Mossman (Routt Boys Basketball) A historic night for Mossman last week as he be came the all time leading scorer in Routt history. He surpassed previous record holder Bryan Groves in the first quarter on his way to a 30 point performance. He continued the week with 42 points against Kingsville, 12 points against New Berlin and 10 points against Triopia. Highlights of the record breaking performance HERE.

Troy Pulliam (Maroa Forsyth Football) The Trojans brought home their second state trophy in two years on Friday as they fell to Wilmington in the 2A state finals. Pulliam was the Trojans leading receiver in the game with 73 yards and the lone Maroa touchdown. He also had four tackles and a forced tackle on the defensive side of the ball. Ryne Sheppard (Maroa Forsyth Football) The Trojans earned another second place finish at state on Friday with a loss to Wilmington. The all stater finished with 191 passing yards and a touchdown in the title game. Check out the highlights HERE.

Kaiden Stout (Rochester Football) Rochester brought home a second place trophy after falling to Montini in the 4A state title game on Friday. Stout finished the game with 94 rushing yards and 18 receiving yards. Highlights of the 4A title game HERE.

Noah Wade (Springfield High Boys Basketball) The Senators started the season at the Eaton/Lincoln Tournament last week and finished with a 2-1 record. Wade had a double double with 25 points and 13 rebound in a win over Cahokia. He also has 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists against Mt Zion and 12 points in a loss to Belleville West.
