Trinity in Taylorville Prime Time Performer: April 21-26

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Dublin Pub.

Gift cards will be mailed to the school office at the end of each month.

Iye Adaramola (Glenwood Girls Track & Field) Glenwood hosted the Titan Invite on Friday and was the top local finishing team in fourth place. Adaramola won two individual events at the invite. Her first win came in the 100 meter (12.22 seconds) and the second win in the 200 meter (27.15 seconds). She was also a part of Glenwood’s second place 4×200 team. Highlights from the invite HERE.

Lydia Auble (Springfield High Girls Soccer) A big week of Auble in goal for the Springfield High Senators. She picked up two shutouts as the Senators won three games last week. The first win of the week came against SHG where she picked up six saves in the 6-0 victory. She also had nine saves in a 1-0 win over Pleasant Plains on Friday. Emma Crawford (North Mac Girls Track & Field) A busy night for Crawford at the Rocket Invite on Friday as she won four individual events. On the track, her wins came in the 100 meter (12.64), the 100 hurdles (15.25) and the 300 hurdles (48.50). She also picked up a win in long jump at 17 feet, 7 inches.

Aaden Entringer (Williamsville Boys Track & Field) Williamsville took home fourth place at the Lanphier Invite on Saturday and was the top local team finisher at the meet. Entringer was the Bullets’ lone winner as he took first in pole vault at 13 feet 2 inches. See highlights from the Lanphier Invite HERE.

Caiden Flanigan (Pleasant Plains Boys Track & Field) The Cardinals won the boys team title at the Rocket Invite on Friday and Flanigan was a part of two victories. He won the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.97 seconds and was also a part of the winning 4×200 team (1:31.34).

Teagan Galloway (Pleasant Plains Girls Track & Field) An invite victory for the Cardinals on Friday as they took home the girls team title at the Rocket Invite. Galloway was a part of three winning relays and picked up 7th place in high jump at 4 foot, 6.75 inches. The winning relays included the 4×100 (51.56), the 4×200 (1:49.68) and the 4×400 (4:05.58).

Caleb Hornbrook (Normal U-High Baseball) The Pioneers went 4-1 in a busy schedule last week. In a CS8 win over Jacksonville on Tuesday it was Hornbrook who led the way at the plate. He went 2 for 3 in the victory with two RBIs. He also threw out a runner in the win. Highlights of the 5-3 win HERE.

Lyla Repscher (Taylorville Girls Track & Field) This Taylorville runner picked up a win at the Rocket Invite on Friday but that’s not the only success she’s had this season. Repscher won the 200 meter at the invite with a time of 26.67 seconds. The senior has broken five schools record this year including the indoor 60 meter record, indoor 200 meter, and was a part of the indoor 4×200 team. She is also a part of the outdoor 4×100 team (which broke a 42 year old school record) and the 4×200 team.

Ajay Runkel (Rochester Baseball) Rochester won a Central State Eight matchup against Sacred Heart Griffin on Tuesday. Runkel went 2 for 3 in the 11-3 win with two RBIs, two runs scored and a walk. One of those hits was a homer. He also hit a home run in a non-conference game against SHG on Thursday. Check out highlights of the CS8 matchup HERE and the non-conference game HERE.

Lydia Rutledge (Olympia Softball) The Spartans picked up a big Sangamo victory on Thursday as the Auburn Trojans came to town. Rutledge went 1 for 2 in the victory with a walk and drove in two runs. She drove in the first run of the game and the go ahead run later on as Olympia won 3-1. Check out the highlights of the game HERE.
