Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Dublin Pub.

Gift cards will be mailed to the school office at the end of each month.

Reid Bodine (Williamsville Boys Soccer) The Bullets had a busy week with a regional final and sectional semifinal victory. In the Riverton Regional title game on Tuesday Bodine had two goals as the Bullets took home a 8-1 win. On Saturday in a North Mac Sectional semifinal it was Bodine who led the way with four goals in the first half as they picked up a 6-0 win over Teutopolis. Ashlyn Chopra (Glenwood Girls Cross Country) The Titans won the Jacksonville regional title on Saturday and it was Chopra who led the way for Glenwood. She took second in the race with a time of 17:34.97. See highlights of the team victory HERE.

Izzy Canny (Sacred Heart Griffin Girls Swimming) The Cyclone senior was a part of four wins as Sacred Heart Griffin took home the 2024 City Swim title on Tuesday. Canny had two individual wins: the 100 butterfly (1:05.57) and the 100 backstroke (1:05.57). That backstroke victory was just two tenths of a second ahead of the second place finisher. She was also a part of the 200 medley relay (1:59.97) and 400 freestyle relay (4:06.95) teams who picked up wins. Highlights of the City Swim meet HERE.

Evan Carrell (Springfield High Boys Soccer) The Senators had a big comeback for a regional title on Saturday. Down three goals with 20 to play Springfield High came back to win 4-3. Carrell scored two important goals in the win: a game tying goal with 12 minutes to play and the go ahead goal just 4 minutes later. Check out the highlights of the victory HERE.

Brody Green and Ryan Mansfield (Glenwood Boys Soccer) Not often two goalie make the list together but Green and Mansfield both made big plays for the Titans on their way to a regional title. Glenwood and Rochester were tied at two at the end of regulation and overtime to force PKs. The two Titans’ goalies split time in the goal during PKs and both came up with a stop for Glenwood to help seal the win. See the saves and highlights of the regional title game HERE.

Alaina Hawker (Pleasant Plains Girls Cross Country) Pleasant Plains won a regional title at the Rushville regional on Saturday morning. Hawker also picked up the individual win as she led the Cardinals with a time of 17:54.9.

Jacob Hermes (Pleasant Plains Boys Soccer) The Cardinals are regional champs and will play for a sectional title on Wednesday. Hermes got Pleasant Plains on the board with 26 minutes left as the Cardinals went on to pick up the 2-0 victory over Lincolnwood. That goal and highlights of the win HERE.

Jimmy Lollar (Olympia Football) How about a school record to finish off the regular season? Lollar had a big game as the Spartans traveled to Auburn in a week nine matchup. He rushed for 420 yards and five touchdowns in the 66-44 victory. Olympia will travel to Nashville for a round one playoff game on Saturday.

Taylor Keihn (Illini Central Volleyball) The Cougar senior had a milestone moment last week. Keihn, the libero for Illini Central, picked up her 1,000th career dig. The Cougars start the postseason on Tuesday at the Mt Pulaski regional.

Colten Knoedler (Glenwood Football) Another week nine five touchdown performance came from Knoedler in a 49-12 win over Springfield High. He got it done through the air and on the ground with three passing scores and two more rushing touchdowns. Glenwood hosts Crete-Monee on Saturday in a round one game. Brandon Sims (Jacksonville Football) Not often you see a conference record get broken but Sims did just that on Friday in Lincoln. Sims kicked a 55 yard field goal for the new Central State Eight record. That kick also ranks seventh all time in IHSA history. The record breaking field goal wasn’t the only one he made in the game, Sims also had kicks of 48 and 20 yards in Crimsons victory. Check out the kick HERE.

Laney Snow (Normal U-High Volleyball) The Pioneers are Central State Eight champs once again after a 25-19, 25-21 win over Sacred Heart Griffin on Tuesday. Snow racked up six kills in big moments for U-High plus a dig in the victory. Normal U-High will head to the Rantoul regional this week. See highlights of the CS8 title game HERE.

Elijah Teefey (Pleasant Plains Boys Cross Country) The Cardinals won the Rushville regional on Saturday and it was Teefey leading the way for Pleasant Plains. The junior took first place individually with a time of 15:52.1.

Erin Turk (Glenwood Girls Swimming) The Titans had a big day at the CS8 swimming and diving meet in Normal. Glenwood swept the swim events for the CS8 title. Turk picked up two individual and two relay wins at the meet. Her individual wins came in the 200 freestyle (2:02.29) and the 500 freestyle (5:26.63). She was also a part of the 200 freestyle relay (1:42.28) and the 400 freestyle relay (3:56.42) wins. View the full results HERE.

Louisa Wilson (Williamsville Girls Cross Country) The Williamsville Bullets are regional champs for the first time since 2019. At the Olympia regional on Saturday, the senior picked up a third place finish individually (18:27.93) to lead the Bullets to the win.
