Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Dublin Pub.

Gift cards will be mailed to the school office at the end of each month.

Miles Calderon (Glenwood Boys Soccer) The Titans had a busy week with three games including a CS8 title matchup with U-High. The Pioneers and Titans would go on to tie which gives them a share of the conference title. Calderon contributed in all three games with a goal against both U-High and Normal West while he picked up an assist against Dunlap. Alaina Ervin (Pleasant Plains Girls Golf) The Cardinals have a state golf medalist as Ervin brought home a second place finish in the 1A girls golf meet over the weekend. Ervin finished with an even par on day one and went on to finish with a three over 147 at the end of day two. Check out some highlights from day two HERE.

Mia Gerger (Glenwood Football) Glenwood picked up the 34-31 overtime win over SHG at Cyclone Stadium on Friday night in a back and fourth battle. In OT it was Gerger who sent the Titans home with the win thanks to a 27 yard field goal. See that kick and all the highlights from the game HERE.

Izzy Hassebrock (Sacred Heart Griffin Girls Golf) Last season Hassebrock brought home a state title while the Cyclones picked up a second place finish at state. This season SHG is bring home another trophy while Hassebrock picks up another individual medal. Hassebrock finished three over par for a two day total of 147 to earn second place. Braden Hutchison (Jacksonville Football) The Crimsons are playoff eligible after a 53-13 win over MacArthur on Friday night. Hutchison score twice in the first half to help lead Jacksonville to the win. He finished with 94 rushing yards and 32 passing yards in the win. Check out highlights of the win HERE.

Mason Jacobs (Rochester Football) The Rockets traveled to Memorial Stadium to take on Springfield High on Saturday afternoon and took home a 51-21 victory. Jacobs scored twice for Rochester with one score on a 9 yard rush and another on a 12 yard reception. Highlights of the week eight win HERE.

Sean Kaeb (Normal U-High Boys Cross Country) The Pioneers are Central State Eight champs as Kaeb leads the way with an individual first place finish. He finished with a time of 15:54.10 while U-High finished with a score of 46 which tied them with Glenwood. The Pioneers would end up with the win thanks to a tiebreaker. Ali Londrigan (Glenwood Girls Cross Country) It’s another win for Londrigan and the Titans at the Central State Eight meet on Saturday. Glenwood took the team title with a score of 24 while Londrigan finished first individually with a time of 18:15.10. You can see highlights of the conference race HERE.

Clark Nelson (New Berlin Football) The Pretzels had a slow start on Friday night against Athens but they would go on to pick up the 34-7 victory. In the win it was Nelson who found the end zone four times. He finished the night with 216 rushing yards and the four scores. New Berlin will travel to Maroa Forsyth in week nine. Gage Paul (Williamsville Football) The Bullets remain unbeaten in Sangamo play with a 28-21 win over Maroa Forsyth on Friday night at Paul Jenkins Field. Paul got the scoring started for Williamsville with a four yard touchdown early in the second quarter. He also picked up a 27 yard score to put the Bullets up 28-14. Paul would finish the game with 56 rushing yards. Highlights of the big conference matchup HERE.

Ella Sandgren (Maroa Forsyth Girls Tennis) Sandgren picked up a single title at the 1A Mt Zion Sectional on Saturday to help lead the Trojans to a sectional title. That individual win came in 6-0, 6-0 victory over Lincoln’s Hoyt.

Caroline Sheehan (Sacred Heart Griffin Girls Tennis) The Cyclones picked up a sectional title on Saturday at the 1A Jacksonville sectional. Sheehan led the way for SHG with a first place finish in the singles bracket. That win came with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Anderson of Bunker Hill.

Addie Stadsholt (Athens Volleyball) Thursday night was a special one for Stadsholt as the Warriors finished Sangamo play with a two set win over Auburn. In the victory Stadsholt picked up her 1,000th career kill as she went on to finish with 11 kills, three aces and four digs in the Athens win.

Britni Walters (Williamsville Volleyball) The Bullets wrapped up an undefeated conference title on Thursday with a win over New Berlin. That win was Williamsville’s 32nd straight conference victory. It was also a special game for Walters who picked up her 1,000th career kill on senior night. She finished the game with 12 kills, eight digs, and an ace. Mitch Williams (Maroa Forsyth Football) Maroa traveled the Williamsville on Friday night and despite a loss it was a big one for Williams. He finished the game with 11 receptions for 127 yards and one touchdown. With those 11 receptions Williams became the all time reception leader in school history as he now sits at 115 career receptions. Highlights of the Sangamo conference game HERE.
