The #3 ranked team in the nation, the Heartland Hawks proved their ranking with a 4-1 win over Lincoln Land on Thursday afternoon. TeTee Jallah set up the goal for the Loggers with a shot into the box that bounced off a Hawk defender and into the back of the net for an own goal. Heartland answered with two goals before the half and added two more in the second half for the win. Lincoln Land is back at home next Wednesday against Kaskaskia.
