The Rochester Rockets got a walk-off single from Samantha Gleckler in the bottom of the eight for a 3-2 regional title win over Springfield High on Thursday. The Rockets had a 2-0 lead in the top of seven when Mia Volpert hit a two-run homer for the Senators to tie the game. Rochester’s Jaelyn Watts struck out 15 in 8 innings pitched. The Rockets will play Mt Zion in a 3A Charleston sectional semifinal on Tuesday at 6:30pm
