Jacob Ahlberg (Glenwood Football) The Titans picked up their fourth win with a 33-0 victory over Springfield High at Memorial Stadium on Friday. Ahlberg finished the night with three touchdowns, two rushing and one receiving, while also rushing for 82 yards. You can check out highlights of the Glenwood win HERE.
Lucas Bixby (New Berlin Football) New Berlin traveled to Pittsfield on Friday and brought home a 40-0 victory. Bixby totaled five touchdowns in the win as quarterback. He rushed for 53 yard with two TDs while throwing for 138 yards and three TDs.
Henry Buecker (Rochester Football) The Rockets continue to roll the season with a win over Jacksonville in week four. Buecker had five catches for 155 yards and three touchdowns. You can check out the highlights of the victory HERE.
Kloe Froebe (Lincoln Volleyball) Lincoln continues to pick up wins this year with two conference victories last week while also winning the Mt Pulaski Tournament on Saturday. Froebe was named to the all tournament team in Mt Pulaski. While in the CS8 wins against Glenwood and Springfield she totaled 19 kills and 23 digs. Mason Hooper-Willis (Normal U-High Football) The Pioneers are 3-1 this season after a 28-14 win against McArthur. In the win Hooper-Willis had four receptions for 101 yards and three touchdowns. Check out one of those TDs HERE.
Karsyn Jacoby (Athens Volleyball) Athens got off to a good start in Sangamo play with a three set victory over Pleasant Plains. Jacoby had 10 kills, two blocks, and eight digs in that win. The Warriors also finished second in the Ray Long Pretzel Classic over the weekend. Highlights of the win against Plains HERE.
Jack Pagel (Olympia Football) The Spartans took the 3A quarterfinal rematch against Williamsville on Friday with a 27-20 victory. Pagel had the go-ahead touchdown with 6:46 left in the game. You can see that touchdown and more highlights from the Sangamo matchup HERE.
Christian Ray (Glenwood Soccer) Glenwood is one of two unbeaten teams left in CS8 play this year. Last week they picked up a win over Lincoln in which Ray scored two goals while also adding an assist. Check out the highlights HERE.
Van Schneider (Glenwood Cross Country) At the Dunlap Invite over the weekend Schneider picked up an individual victory while leading the Titans to a second place finish as a team. He took the win with a time of 15:29.8.
Ellie Surges (Glenwood Tennis) Glenwood hosted the Titan Invite on Saturday and picked up the team victory. In the number one singles bracket it was Surges who took second place for Glenwood.
Julian Valenti (Springfield High Golf) City golf was held Wednesday at Bunn Golf Course and it was Valenti who took home medalist honors with a 77. The Senators also picked up the team win with a score of 328. Some City Golf highlights HERE.
Louisa Wilson (Williamsville Cross Country) Williamsville continues their good performances over the weekend with a team win at the Dale Donner Invite at Bureau Valley High School. Wilson helped lead the team to victory with a fourth place individual finish and a time of 19:05.3.
