Rochester scored two first half goals and let their defense do the rest. The Rockets beat Normal West 2-0 to capture a spot in Friday’s 2A Normal West sectional championship against Glenwood. Maggie Gleckler and Charlotte Beatty scored the Rochester goals and Alyse Day preserved the shutout. Rochester will play Glenwood for the third straight season for a sectional title, the game starts at 6 pm on Friday.
