Springfield jumped out to an 8-0 lead and beat Glenwodo 9-4 on their home field to earn the CS8 series split on Thursday. Ryne Crum pitched a complete game for the win. AJ Bennett drove in three runs with a double in the third, Seth Impson hit a solo home run in the seventh. Springfield is at Rochester for their regional, while Glenwood travels to SHG.
