Pleasant Plains beat PORTA 48-27 on Wednesday night to claim the outright Sangamo conference title. The Cardinals handed the Bluejays their first loss this season, PORTA is now 26-1, while the Cardinals are 22-6. These two could meet again next Thursday in Petersburg for the 2A regional title.
