Trinity In Taylorville Prime Time Performer: December 19-24

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

Kloe Froebe (Lincoln Girls Basketball) Lincoln continues to pick up wins this year and their most recent was a victory over Glenwood last Tuesday. In the victory Froebe had a game high 33 points. See the highlights of the Railers win HERE.

Kaiden Maurer (Maroa Forsyth Boys Basketball) The Trojans started play at the St. Teresa Christmas Tournament last week with a win over Mt Pulaski in their opening game. Maurer finished with a near triple double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists.

Zac Laird (Athens Boys Basketball) Athens added a win to their record last week at the Illinois College Shootout with a victory over Lewistown. In the win Laird led the Warriors with 17 points. Highlights of that game HERE.

Brayden Saling (Williamsville Boys Basketball) Another team that traveled to the IC Shootout last week was the Williamsville Bullets. In their victory over South County, Saling made six three-pointers for a game high 18 points. See the highlights HERE.

Sienna Hadley (Pleasant Plains Girls Basketball) Pleasant Plains hosted Father McGivney last week as the Cardinals picked up the win. Plains had multiple double digit scorers but it was Hadley who led the team with 12 points Wednesday night.

Camden Nelson (Lincoln Boys Basketball) The Railers hosted Glenwood on Tuesday and picked a win. Nelson led Lincoln with a game high five three-pointers totaling 15 points. He also had three steals in the victory. You can see highlights of the game HERE.

Zach Powell (Pleasant Plains Boys Basketball) The Cardinals hosted Beardstown last week in a non-conference matchup. Powell had 15 first half points and added 11 in the third quarter for a game high 26 points.

Reese Huffman (Calvary Boys Basketball) The Calvary Saints hosted Auburn in a high scoring affair on Tuesday as they picked up an 85-80 victory. Huffman had a couple big three pointers in the forth quarter including one to give the Saints the lead before free throws sealed it. Check out the highlights from that game HERE.

Trenton Dietrich (Illini Central Boys Basketball) The Cougars picked up a 58-37 victory over Greenview last Tuesday. In the victory Dietrich was the leading scorer that night with 30 points.
