Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

Emma Dixon (Rochester Volleyball) The Rockets are heading to the 3A Lincoln Sectional after a victory over Springfield High in the regional championship. Dixon had a match high 14 kills and two aces in the win. She was also an important part of the back row. See the highlights of the win HERE.

Maddox Gerger (Glenwood Soccer) Gerger is back on the list this week after he scored the game winner on Friday night. The Titans hosted Rochester in the sectional championship which headed to overtime The score was tied at one at the end of regulation then again after the first overtime. Gerger’s header with 8 minutes to go in the second OT broke the tie and sent Glenwood to the super sectional this week. Highlights of the 2OT sectional championship HERE.

Peyton Bergschneider (Pleasant Plains Volleyball) Pleasant Plains won the 2A Athens Regional on Thursday night. They defeated PORTA in straight sets as Bergschneider picked up 13 kills in the win. The Cardinals advance to the Riverton sectional this week. See highlights of the regional win HERE.

Mitchell Hayes (UHigh Boys Cross Country) After a fourth place finish at state last year the Pioneers are heading back after a sectional team victory. Hayes led the team at the Elmwood sectional finishing second with a time of 15:37.16. Highlights of the sectional can be found HERE.

Riley Holliday (Williamsville Volleyball) The Bullets won a regional title on Thursday while Holliday achieved an individual milestone. The sophomore picked up her 1,000 career assist in the 25-17, 25-17 victory against Warrensburg Latham. See the highlights of the victory HERE.

Zach Keedy (Olympia Football) The Spartans are onto round two for the first time since the 1986 season with an upset over Benton in round one. Keedy threw for 46 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 46 yards in the 32-21 victory. They will host SJO on Saturday at 6pm. See some of the highlights of the win over Benton HERE.

Makenna Cox (Lutheran Volleyball) Lutheran is back in the sectionals after a 2-1 win against Mt Pulaski in the 1A Regional championship. Cox finished with 30 kills, 15 digs, two blocks and two aces in the 21-25, 25-9, 25-13 win. Check out the Crusaders victory HERE.

Parker Gillespie (Rochester Football) The Rockets won another home playoff game this weekend with a round one victory over Effingham. Gillespie had 12 receptions for 273 yards and three touchdowns in the 45-14 win. They host Breese Central on Saturday at 4:30pm. Highlights of the round one win can be found HERE.

Caroline Willenborg (Pleasant Plains Girls Cross Country) The Cardinals are heading to Detweiller this weekend after winning the Elmwood sectional. Willenborg lead the team with a fifth place finish and a time of 18:29.69. See highlights of the sectional HERE.

Peyton Sasse (Lincoln Volleyball) The Railers head back home this week as they host a 3A sectional after winning the Jacksonville Regional on Thursday. The sophomore had a team high 11 kills in the victory. See some of those highlights HERE.

Camden Austin (Athens Football) Athens heads back home this weekend after a round one win over Carmi. Austin picked up 160 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the 48-8 victory. The Warriors will host St Teresa on Saturday at 1pm. Check out some of the first half highlights of the round one win HERE.

Lola Clayton (UHigh Volleyball) The Pioneers picked up a big three set victory over Mahomet Seymour for a regional title last week. Clayton had 26 assists, seven digs and two aces in the win. They will travel to Lincoln for sectionals this week. Highlights of the regional title game HERE.

Jake Seman (Williamsville Football) A big night of team and individual performance for Seman on Friday night in a round one game against Carlinville. Seman needed 8 completions to pass his dad, Matt Seman, for the number one spot in the Williamsville record books for career completions. He completed 10 passes for five touchdowns and 63 yards in the 48-20 victory. Highlight of the game HERE.
