It’ll be a CS8 battle for the sectional crown…the same two teams that played for the girls 2A sectional championship a few months ago. Glenwood beat Champaign Central 4-1 to advance to Friday’s 2A Chatham sectional title game at 5 pm. All five goals were scored in the second half, the Titans went up 3-0 before the lone goal from Champaign was scored off a free kick with 13 minutes to play. Rochester vs Glenwood on Friday at 5 pm for a trip to the Rochester super sectional next Tuesday.
