Trinity In Taylorville Prime Time Performer: September 5-10

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

Reagan Kennedy (UHigh Girls Golf) Kennedy is back picking up wins this year and last week won her third Intercity title in Bloomington. She claimed the medalist title with a 77 while leading the Pioneers to a 6th straight Intercity team title.

Megan Becker (Springfield High Volleyball) The Senators traveled to Rochester last Tuesday and left with a big CS8 win over the Rockets in three sets. Becker was consistent for Springfield High all night with 21 digs and six assists in the victory. They have another big test Tuesday night as the Senators host UHigh. Cameron Frye (Williamsville Boys Soccer) Frye is back for his senior season in Williamsville and hit a major milestone last week against St Teresa. In the victory Frye scored his 100th career goal becoming the first in Williamsville soccer history to do so.

Camren Bigard (Athens Football) The Warriors needed a comeback win over Olympia to move to 3-0 in the Sangamo. Bigard helped add on to the lead and secure the win with two fourth quarter touchdowns. He had a total of 72 yards on 11 attempts in the win. Check out the highlights of the game HERE.

Haven Gronewold (PORTA Cross Country) The Bluejays picked up two team titles last week with one coming at the Rushville Industry Invite on Tuesday and the other on Saturday at the PORTA Invite. Gronewold led the team picking up the first place finish in Rushville and a second place finish in PORTA.

Grace Rector (South County Girls Golf) The South County Vipers have two MSM Conference meet medalists this year as Rector secured medalist honors for the girls with a 99. She led her team to a second place finish at the meet with a score of 498.

Logan Smith (South County Boys Golf) The other Viper medalists from the MSM Conference meet was Smith who shot a 76. He led the team to the conference title with a combined score of 336.

Mia Gerger (Glenwood Football) Friday night was a record setting night for the Titans and Gerger. Not only did they set school records for most points in a game and touchdowns, Gerger picked up the school record for most PATs with 10. See some of those record setting touchdowns HERE.

Joe Brudnak (Springfield High Boys Soccer) Another Senators win over the Rockets on Tuesday was the boys soccer team picking up a 2-0 victory. Brudnak had the shutout in goal for Springfield High in the win. See the highlights HERE.

Colleen Zeibert (Rochester Cross Country) The Lanphier Invite was held at Lincoln Park on Saturday morning and Zeibert picked up another first place finish. The Rocket won with a time of 18:39. Check out the highlights of the race HERE.

Lily Barry (UHigh Volleyball) The Pioneers traveled to Effingham this weekend for the Crossroads Classic. Barry won the Tournament MVP as UHigh won 10 straight sets on their way to the tournament title. The Pioneers travel to Springfield on Tuesday to take on Springfield High in a battle of the unbeatens.

Talin Kern (Auburn Football) The Trojans bounced back after a week two loss with a win over Pleasant Plains on Friday night. Kern finished 12 for 16 with 133 yard and three touchdowns in the victory. See the highlights of the win HERE.
