Springfield High hosted MacArthur in Central State Eight play tonight in a battle of the conference unbeatens. The Generals jumped out to a 19-5 lead to end the first but Springfield cut that lead to 5 by halftime. The Senators would pick up the 71-59 victory behind Kaleah Toran’s 20 points while Virtuous Komolafe added 18. Lilly Null scored a team high 17 for MacArthur.
