All the seeds held until the finals. Glenwood’s Amber Ehrlich and Simmi Mander were the two seed in the doubles tournament and SHG’s Agnes Cross was the two seed in the singles tournament. Both took home the top spot on Saturday to win the Central State Eight title. Glenwood’s Amber Ehrlich and Simmi Mander beat U-High’s Maggie Kraft and Brooke Martin 6-4, 6-3 to take the CS8 doubles title. SHG’s Agnes Cross beat Rochester’s Mollie Morrisey 6-1, 6-0 to take the CS8 singles title. We spoke with all three champs and we’ve got some semifinal highlights as well.
