In what was expected to be a pitcher’s duel between Chad Saner and Will Reiser more than lived up to that, with this game scoreless after a full seven innings. But someone needed to score, and that someone making it happen happened to be Jacks Hyde once again for Springfield High with his second walk-off winner in this year’s city series.
