Based on the remaining schedule, Rochester needed a win on Wednesday to stay in the CS8 hunt. Reagan Miles made it happen shutting down the U-High bats for a 2-0 win for the Rockets.
Kailyn Whaley hit a grounder with teh bases loaded in the third inning and an error allowed two runs to score and that was all that Miles needed on the mound.
Rochester will play SHG next week. U-High suffers their first CS8 loss this season, they play Eisenhower next week.
