The Eagles and Generals went back and forth exchanging leads in the first half as Bethalto Civic Memorial took a 23-22 lead into the half. They seemed to have the game at hand after they opened the third quarter on a 13-4 run. Mac would storm back and cut the lead to just three with two minutes remaining. The Eagles would take a five point advantage into the fourth where they would extend their lead and win 61-49 over MacArthur.
