SHG and Jerseyville traded buckets for 31 and a half minutes in a hotly-contested regional championship, but none of it prepared us for the final 30 seconds. Three game-winning/game-tying buckets in the final 35 seconds of the game made for one of the craziest finishes we’ve seen this year, and when the dust settled the SHG Cyclones were regional champions with a 56-53 win over Jerseyville thanks to a buzzer beater from senior Maggie Gilmore.
