PORTA hung around for about three quarters, doing a fantastic job on 6’4″ center Megan Hallemann for the first three frames, but the rest of the Comets did their damage. Ally Cantrill scored 16 points, 14 of which came in the first half, handling PORTA 54-36 in the sectional semifinals. Hallemann finished with 16 as well for the Comets, with 12 of them coming in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Isabel Hudspeth led the Bluejays with 15 points.
