Caroline Jachino had 35 points to lead Plains in scoring as the Cardinals and Hiltoppers needed three overtimes to decide a winner.
After a hot first quarter, both teams battled back and fourth. Sammi Matoush would have a chance to give a lead Hillsboro at the line in the final seconds but her free throw was no good. In the first OT, Anna Kanllakan would hit a layup with under forty second to send the game into double OT tied at 52. With the Hiltoppers leading by three with seconds left in double OT Caroline jachino would come up huge with a three to tie the game at 61. In the final overtime the Hiltopers would hold off Plains as Matoush would lead Hillsboro to the 69-63 win.
