Southeast didn’t score a field goal until 3 minutes to go in the first half as Springfield High jumped out to a 29-1 lead and went on to win 55-11. The Senators got everyone involved offensively and shut down the Spartans on the defensive end to win their opener as the number one seed at the 2019 girls City tournament. Springfield High will play Lanphier in the nightcap on Thursday.
