Payton Allen and Aundrae Williams combined for 37 points to lead the Prairie Stars, but UIS’ seven game winning streak was stopped by the McKendree Bearcats 77-75 on Saturday afternoon.
UIS led by seven at the half but struggled to stop Nolan Gerling and Nate Michael in the second half. UIS will be back in action at the TRAC for GLVC opponent UMSL on Thursday evening.
