Plains jumped out to a 12-4 lead over host St.Joseph-Ogden early in the first quarter to help the Cardinals take a 14-9 lead headed into the 2nd. Chance Izard would hit a three to get SJO within 2 but a late and one by Justin Guernsey would help Plains take a 30-23 lead into the half.
Nick Savage, Justin Guernsey, and Joel Niermann would all score in double digits as the Cardinals would control the second half and go on to beat SJO 63-38.
