Brandon Odam accounted for five touchdowns, Justin Wright and Yemi Odugbesan had three scores each as Taylorville beat Illinois Valley Central 57-30 to open up the 4A playoffs.
Odam threw for four touchdowns and ran for another, Justin Wright had a pick six for 90 plus yards and Odugbesan had a receiving and a rushing score.
Taylorville awaits the winner of Columbia and Freeburg in the second round.
