Pleasant Plains enters the 3A playoffs with the same exact record that took them to the state championship game a year ago – 6-3. The Cardinals have a few new faces, but this team isn’t much different than the one that made the first state championship appearance in school history last year. Head coach John Hambelton wants to take it one game at a time, but with three straight wins to end the regular season, this Pleasant Plains team is rolling at just the right time.
