We knew Maroa Forsyth and Athens would be a slugfest, and that’s exactly what we got on Friday night. A back and forth game highlighted by two terrific rushing offenses, Maroa took a 21-20 lead with under 4 minutes to go. Athens drove down into Maroa territory, but Kadinn Morris intercepted Jack Richards to seal the win for Maroa Forsyth as they improve to 7-0 and are just two wins away from their first ever outright Sangamo title.
